Recently found out about an ASUS contest where you will win a Zenfone 2 Deluxe, the biggest and baddest competition in android history by playing this particular game. Spec-wise, it may topple a few of the main competitors like LG, Samsung and even the rising titans that is Huawei as well as other emerging phone brands. I may say, and I dare say, that even if I still haven't gotten my hands on a single ASUS phone (but I do have ASUS N56VB laptop, which is still kicking ass on Steam games even with many ROG laptops released), ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe is surely a flagship killer.
But enough about that, let's play this game that was developed by ASUS Brazil called Zenny Worldz!
First impression, I thought this was like a shooting game like Space Impact and hardly any thought about it being a Flappy Bird spin-off. As was Flappy Bird, You have a mini-campaign starting off with the first world called Voltz, where you play the normal Flappy Bird-ish tap game. Additionally, unlike its ancestor, this game has power-ups, which help you get through the campaign as well as help you rack up points in Endless Mode, which will be playable after finishing the Four-world campaign.
For the first world, you have the invulnerable barrier, which you can smash yourself into the obstacles with ease and destroy them. You will receive your 'reward' for finishing this world with details of how awesome the ASUS Zenfone 2 is.
Second world of the campaign is called Dezin. This time, your obstacles are rings where you should enter the correct color as that of the color of the bigger tube. After successfully entering a ring, it would either stay the same color or it would change into the other two. At first it's a bit tricky, but you'll get used to it. The power-up here is that it changes one of the other circles into the current color. That means it would be two of the same-colored rings, making it easier to jump into.
Next up is a world called Quadz. This map has stalactites and stalagmites. The challenge here is that randomly, your phone shakes(vibrates), all the while those stalactites and stalagmites either ascend or descend from their usual position so you have to adjust your timing occasionally. The power-up in this stage grants you an invulnerability as well as diving straight ahead.
The final world is called Zix. This may be a bit of a challenge for others who don't play this kind of game. Thw challenge in this map is that you can't see what's up ahead. You constantly have to predict and what better way to do it than grabbing the power-up here where it illuminates the whole map, giving you the full visibility of where the obstacles are situated.
If you're having a hard time on this map, my tip is that you stay flapping in the middle, since it would take less the distance in an unpredictable situation. For example, flapping too high when the obstacle has a bigger length on the upper screen would be a disaster and vice versa.
Once you complete this campaign, as said earlier, the Endless Mode will be unlocked and then you can compete with others in world rankings.
So far, here's my score for Voltz. How about you?

— I once was addicted to Flappy Bird, but here comes an enhanced version of it. Four power-ups and four different challenges. A must play for casual gamers.

Pixel Towers
From the famous tower-stacking game during the time of symbian OS, a rendition of the Tower Blocks game came to android but in a grand pixelized version.
As the same from the original, the goal is to stack as much layers to make an endless tower. Each layer count as 15 points or what they call here as height. But be warned, every wrong drop will result to a decrease in layer segments. The decrease will be greater if you stray away from dropping the previous layer. There will be no point deducted but your accuracy on dropping with minimal segments will affect your performance for better or for worse. The game ends when you lose all segments from mis-dropping.
Aside from the original, this remake has power-ups. For these to take effect, players must first put down the bonus layer without losing the game — yes, most especially if you only have a single segment left.
The first one is the Slow Down buff, where it... Slows down(of course) the horizontal speed of the next layer to be dropped so that you can concentrate on the precision of your dropping. As experienced, the higher you stack, the horizontal speed increases a bit so this is useful for resetting it to a lower speed.

The next one is the Extra Stack buff, where successfully putting down this bonus layer grants your next drop with either 1, 2 or 3 bonus layers on top of your single layer. In short, this bonus increases your score. Randomly, you can get 1-3 bonus layers so you can probably score a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 points with this buff activated in a single dropping.
Lastly, the Bonus Block buff is your 'health potion' in this game. What it does is recover a lost segment (if you lost any) or adding an additional segment if you still have the 4 segments intact, so you can have a maximum of 5 segments at a time so you can keep stacking and scoring.
For a newbie, I got this high. How about you?

— I have played Tower Blocks when I first had my Nokia 5320 Express Music and I was hooked on it. Then came out the 3D version of Tower Blocks which made me waste my time a lot more–productively. Never would have imagined I can play it again in like 4 years or so. Now with power-ups, I can say that this is addicting all over again.
Here's a quick game on the house.

Pokemon Shuffle
Newcomers were excited about the release of the said Pokemon game. Upon release though, I saw a bit more of the negativity and hopelessness of comments around the internet but as a gamer, you shouldn't expect anything; just play it.
On to my next point, this game is identical to Candy Crush but with a bit of modification — Pokemon tiles!
On to my next point, this game is identical to Candy Crush but with a bit of modification — Pokemon tiles!
The quest continues — forever. Here we have quests and pre-requisite levels to unlock the next one. Just like any other android game, the same "to unlock next level, beat this level first" kind of thing.
Just before diving into battle, there's a pre-battle shop where you can spend coins to unlock bonus shenanigans to help you win the fight. When the battle starts, the add-ons will take effect, whether it be prolonging the cooldown of enemy pokemon's skills or having extra turns to have that last hit, it will happen. Also, you can shuffle your pokemons to better suit the opposite element rule and deal more damage to the opponent.
The goal is to match tiles (just like Candy Crush—which I did not play AT ALL!) and generate a tile of three in a line or more. The more tiles you pop, the bigger the damage dealt to the enemy pokemon. Planning multiple tile matches in a calculated or accidental move will deal more damage than the usual three and matching four or more of the same pokemon tile will unleash their special attack.

After winning a battle, you are given the chance to capture that particular opponent based upon the number of turns and points accumulated. The more turns you have, the higher the chance of capturing it.

— I'm not a big fan of puzzles like these but they're kind of refreshing, makes you burn a lot of time. Pokemon + Candy Crush = this rendition.

Pixel Hospital
By just guessing it, I had a hunch that this game would be kind of like the famous Diner Dash — and I pat myself on the shoulder knowing that throughout my gaming experiences, I did quite well on guessing what games like these would be like.
By standards, it is like Diner Dash but with a little bit more of upgrades and a room cluttered with medical apparatuses instead of food tables.
Moreover, if you need assistants(extra workers), there's only a single assistant that cost in-game currency while others on the upgrade screen costs real money but thanks to the game having already given you a fair share amount of virtual currency (in-game currency bought with real money) at your disposal, you could buy some helpers to make the game a lot more easier/challenging.

— I loved Diner Dash when I was a kid (like barely 6-10 years ago) and this rendition, coupled with a pixelated graphic system just makes me tingly. You know, that sensation when you are a fan of pixelated games like Battle City and other 90's games. You can't and shouldn't ignore this game, simple yet gradually challenging.

Strikers 1945 — 3rd Rendition
Recently thought about playing a retro-shooter game. What came to mind was the famous 90s arcade game called Strikers 1945. Here I am playing a round of it's descendant, Strikers 1999 on the android rendition.
I've had a quick playthrough of all the stages and I die (like a pro) everytime. Forgive me, I'm just too conscious on my first review material for my youtube channel (so watch me play and die miserably on the video).
Notice that there are many different planes that you could unlock by either gems(may be accumulated by playing tons of rounds or by buying gems to support the developer) or you could complete the quests as opposed to using gems. Upgrades are also available with the use of gems, so better stock up those gems and save it for upgrades.
Will be updating this post for further analysis(and of course, Theory crafting) when I have my hands free(or after my hiatus).

— for a retro-based game, I'd share this to anyone who haven't had any experience playing arcade shooter games way back 90s. This kind of game was the rage way back then along with Samurai Showdown and King of Fighters.
This version has the in-game sounds.
